Where will you be during Spring Break 2025? Why not travel to one of six international destinations with other UGA students, faculty, and staff?
Created specifically and exclusively for first-year students, the immersive Connect Abroad programs will connect you to peers, faculty, and unique experiences over UGA’s spring break in 6 international locations.
Not only is this a chance to explore the culture, society, politics, and art of another country, it’s an opportunity to create long-lasting bonds with other UGA students, faculty, and staff.

Join us next Spring Break to find your people, expand your network, and explore your world. By participating in this faculty-led program, you will earn 1.0 academic credit hour and fulfill your experiential learning graduation requirement.
Fees will vary depending on your destination. HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarships can be applied to tuition, but not program fees. Other scholarships and financial aid can be applied to Connect Abroad programs. For more information about funding Study Away experiences, visit the Office of Global Engagement. Additional scholarships are available through our global education partner, WorldStrides.
Applications are now open! Click the tiles above to access program brochures and applications. You can apply to as many programs as you'd like, and you may rank the programs in order of your preference. Ultimately, you are only able to participate in one program. Applications will close on September 20.
