The Congressional Agricultural Fellowship is a valuable opportunity for undergraduate students to serve as agricultural liaisons in Washington, D.C., where they spend 12 weeks interning on Capitol Hill.
Purpose: To provide students the opportunity to learn directly from congressional representatives, build a network, and gain experience in agricultural policy making.

Agricultural Fellows gain first-hand experience working with state and national leaders and experts while representing Georgia agriculture. Students attend Agriculture Committee hearings, prepare briefs, conduct agricultural research, meet with constituents, and participate in other duties relevant to the Congressional office. Through these experiences, students hone their communication and policy skills while making invaluable professional connections.
