Kayleigh served as a Virtual Marketing Intern for a company in Barcelona, Spain, that crafts Luxury destination weddings for its clients.

"Having the opportunity to work alongside my supervisor for a company based in Barcelona was a dream. Although I wasn’t there in person, I still was able to gain more cultural competence and learn about the wedding industry in Barcelona as well as global marketing strategies."

"My role as a marketing intern was creating social media content, designing various templates and assisting with building brand awareness for Barcelona Wedding. Over the span of only two months, I learned an abundance of new skills and greater knowledge. This experience helped me grow both on a personal and professional level. I created an amazing relationship with my supervisor in which we communicated every day about my upcoming and current tasks. 

Throughout my internship, I learned how to discipline myself and schedule my time efficiently in order to carry out my responsibilities. Along with gaining experience in marketing and public relations that will further my career goals, I also expanded my understanding of different cultures and how to communicate effectively. Overall, I learned more about myself and what I enjoy doing in my work."
