Experiential Partner Programs
Work Integrated Learning
Students learn best through experience, and our office has created several Work-Integrated Learningprograms to bring students and external partners together. Our staff develops opportunities for businesses, community organizations, and government agencies to work with talented students looking to gain valuable work experience.
Work-Integrated Learning programs link university students to a workplace related to their field of study. Its aim is to combine academic learning with the practice of work and reinforces their learning outcomes through practical application that are relevant to industry or community partners’ needs.

Internships | Volunteer Opportunities | Student Consulting Projects |
Internships provide hands-on experience and encourage students to apply their learning beyond the classroom. Internships can be with private industry or community organizations, but students must be paid when interning at for-profit companies.
Engage and Recruit Student Talent
Having your internship approved for Experiential Learning provides collaborative partnership with our office and UGA. Internships are part of a powerful learning cycle that expands, stretches, and enhances the student academic experience, creating a whole new level of awareness and understanding.
Volunteer opportunities provide experiences for students to make an impact on their community. Experiential learning with community-based organizations and public sector agencies prepares students for lives of meaningful work and public service. By engaging students in opportunities that integrate knowledge and experience, it fosters an understanding and life-long appreciation for learning.
