"Through this internship, I was able to dip my toe into a very specialized type of public relations and communications since I focused on marine science and research. I knew nothing about this area coming in, but it was so exciting and fun to figure out more as I went.
I gained invaluable experience with website maintenance and development, copy editing, story writing, and social media content creation. I was also able to expand my professional skills since I learned how to clip videos, adjust sound, and edit photos."
