A student works in the WUGA studio. “At WUGA, we aspire to create news, informational, community-oriented or entertainment content at the level produced by NPR and other programmers. Our internships provide an opportunity for students to interact with skilled broadcast professionals who care deeply about their work. In exchange, our staff members benefit from the ideas, creativity and energy brought to the station by the students. Many of our interns go on to enjoy rewarding careers in public media.”
