Adding Students to a non-credit activity
- Access Engage at https://uga.givepulse.com/group/elt/7723
- Log in with your MyID
- In the top menu, switch the view to Classic.
- You can find your activities in your dashboard or by searching on the main EL Activities search page. Note that you can search for both courses and activities by using the tabs.
- Click on the name of the activity you’d like to access.
- This will bring you to the main activity page.
- To add students, click on the blue Manage button.
- Select Add Users from the left side menu.
- From this page you can add students individually or using the bulk upload option. If adding individual students, I recommend the Add user from network and search by student name. If uploading students in bulk, download the CSV template and complete the First Name, Last Name, and Email address (must be non-alias MyID email to correctly connect to Banner).
- You can confirm that students have been uploaded correctly by going to the left side menu, selecting Experiential and then Manage EL Details. Correctly added students will show up with their 81# in this section.
Passing Students in a non-credit activity

- Click on the name of the activity you’d like to access.
- This will bring you to the main activity page.
- To pass students (update status), click on the blue Manage button.
- Select Experiential and then Manage EL Details. Correctly added students will show up with their 81# in this section.
- To pass students one at a time, click on the student name, select Update from the Status section. Select the appropriate status (passed/attempted, not passed) and click save.
- To do a bulk pass, select the box to the left of all the student names who should be passed. Near the top right of the screen, select Bulk Actions, then Mass Update. In the top Status box, select “Passed,” scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit. Repeat as necessary for students who should be marked “attempted, not passed.” Note that if you have a large number of students, you may need to do this for multiple pages of students.
