Annelise Norman, Ph.D.

Annelise Norman joined the Office of Experiential Learning in June 2022 as the Scholarships & Public Relations Coordinator. Annelise is heavily involved with EL scholarship administration and public affairs.

Annelise earned a BA and PhD in English from UGA. Before joining EL, she worked as an Instructor of Record for the English department, teaching writing and literature courses to undergraduate students while completing her PhD. She has also worked as a competitive baton twirling coach and a dog trainer in addition to managing social media for the lifestyle blog Style at a Certain Age. She currently runs an Etsy shop she opened during the pandemic, which specializes in handmade pet enrichment toys and gifts.

When not at work, Annelise can be found making poor decisions at TJ Maxx or frolicking around Athens with her corgi, Bean.
