The photo shows a pink house in the “Art Deco” style at the museum located on the grounds. The Serralves Museum was an unexpected favorite of mine in Porto! Going into the museum, I was unsure whether or not I was going to understand the art in this museum. In the museums I have visited in the past, I have only seen paintings or historical structures. Prior to the Serralves, I had not seen a lot of abstract paintings or sculptures. Thankfully though, we had an incredible tour guide, João, who was so descriptive and helpful when explaining the artwork. My favorite artwork to see in the museum were the videos. It was so fun to see the gardens, sculptures, and the chapel.
