Spring 2024 Industry Fellows
Benjamin Abrams
Junior, Majoring in Finance and Accounting
Benjamin is a third-year Finance and Accounting double major pursuing a certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership at The University of Georgia, from Atlanta, Georgia. A fourth generation Bulldog, he is an avid Georgia football fan and has previous internship experiences in Corporate Treasury at The Dow Chemical Company and Business Development at Rugged Road Outdoors. On campus, Benjamin has enjoyed immersing himself in the University’s entrepreneurship community and the local Athens business scene, with leadership roles in both of Georgia’s student-run Venture Capital and Management Consulting firms, in addition to having previously participated in several underclassmen business programs.
Adelaide Arthur
Senior, Majoring in Finance
Addie was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She is an active member of Women in Finance and Atlas Business Society and involved in UGA Miracle Rising Leaders, Chi Omega, and work at Ramsey Student Center. This past summer Addie worked at an investment management firm in her hometown and has interests in consulting and innovation in the business industry. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and being with friends, family, and her dogs.
Dylan Balon
Junior, Majoring in Finance and Risk Management
Dylan is from Lincoln, Rhode Island, majoring in Finance and Risk Management, as well as pursuing a Legal studies certificate. On campus, he has been involved in the PAL Honors Mentorship Program, Magellan Business Society, and serves as a resident assistant in Creswell Hall. He has interned at Amica Insurance as a customer service intern and at Textron as an investor relations intern. He is a triplet and enjoys playing pickleball.
Grant Baumann
Sophomore, Double Majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Business
A National Merit Scholar and recipient of UGA’s Charles McDonald Brown Scholarship, Grant is a Morehead Honors College student and participates in campus as an Engineering Student Ambassador and member of UGA’s Small Satellite Research Lab. He enjoys the gym, professional sports, and reading.
Alexander Drahos
Junior, Majoring in Political Science
As the past president of Key Club International, the world’s largest student-led service nonprofit, Alex used his passion for systems thinking and innovation to revitalize the organization. At the University of Georgia, he is a Foundation Fellow, a staff writer for the Georgia Political Review, and a strategist for a pro bono advertising agency for nonprofits, Paw Print. He also is a housing insecurity policy analyst with the Roosevelt Institute. In his free time, Alex enjoys playing cello, reading political strategy, and traveling.
Katie Field
Sophomore, Majoring in Management Informational Systems
Katie Field, originally from Austin, Texas, is pursuing her BBA in Management Information Systems, complemented by a certificate in Entrepreneurship. Her post-BBA trajectory includes obtaining a Master's in Business Analytics, with aspirations to start a career in management or strategy consulting. She is actively involved on campus in organizations such as the Atlas Business Society, Office of Public Service & Outreach Student Scholars, and the Panhellenic Council. Beyond academics, she enjoys culinary experimentation, tackling puzzles, and immersing herself in non-fiction reads. Katie values ambition, inclusivity, and strong teamwork skills, and is passionate about bringing data-driven transformation to business organizations.
Bryan Gadapee
Senior, Majoring in Marketing
Born and raised in Augusta, Ga, Bryan is a creative student with a passion for growing and learning outside the classroom. He is involved in Entrepreneurship Program and is an active member of the Catholic Center at UGA. Outside the classroom, he enjoys golf, traveling, and constantly improving. In addition, he has interests in consulting, innovation, and design, with the plan of one day owning a business of his own.
Brooke Gillett
Sophomore, Majoring in Finance with a Sociology Minor
Brooke is an active member at UGA’s Relay for Life, Delta Zeta, Dawgs for Paws, and several non-profit organizations. She is interested in consulting, business design and implementing innovative problem-solving strategies in the workplace. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, the arts and spending time with friends and family.
Guy Gober
Senior, Majoring in Agricultural Engineering
Guy Gober is from Tiger, GA and is working to develop the next generation of sustainable technology and new precision agricultural tools. Guy has worked with Tomco Systems, a dry ice machinery company, and is a former member of a UGA farming tech startup, Chiktopia. When Guy is not working on his engineering projects, he is tending to his garden, working out, or enjoying the outdoors with friends.
David Han
Senior, Double Majoring in Economics and Finance
Jun Ho Han, who goes by David, was raised in Watkinsville, GA, and has interests in consulting, policy, international affairs, and intelligence. He is excited to work with his peers to ideate innovative solutions for today's problems and is a participant in the Air Force ROTC program. Other activities David is involved in include the Institute for Leadership Achievement (Leonard Leadership Scholars), leadership experience within the Kappa Sigma fraternity, and an IFC Clerkship.
Shane Hoey
Junior, Majoring in Economics
Shane Hoey is a third-year student from Boston, Massachusetts, and has interests in consulting, investment strategy, and philosophy. Currently, he is involved on campus in the Atlas Business Society, Economics Society, and is the Professional Development Chair of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. In the past he has worked as a Marketing Intern for a Capital Investment Firm, leading him into his upcoming personal investment internship at Fidelity Investments. At Fidelity, he will look to improve his critical thinking and market knowledge while working on a capstone project. In his free time, you will find him watching the Boston Celtics.
Madelyn Kamuf
Junior, Majoring in Risk Management and Insurance
As a fourth-year student from Tampa, Florida, Madelyn has had many opportunities to get involved both on and off campus. Within Terry, she is a member of the Atlas Business society and Women in Business. Madelyn has also served as the Director of Health and Wellness in her sorority, Alpha Phi, and spent time working at a local real estate firm, Marks Commercial Realty. She is passionate about problem-solving and collaborating to make a change and hopes to pursue a career that allows her an opportunity to excel in these areas.
George Katz
Junior, Majoring in Marketing
George Katz is originally from Decatur, Georgia. He is a third-year marketing major, pursuing certificates in entrepreneurship. On campus, he’s held leadership roles in Kappa Sigma, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, the UGA Club Soccer Team, and the Inter-Fraternity Council clerkship. He is also an ILA Leadership Fellow. George was an intern at Chick-fil-A under their leadership development program and looks forward to his upcoming internship Lexus, focused on sales and operations. In his free time, George enjoys playing soccer, weightlifting, and the Wordle.
Sejal Khanna
Junior, Double Majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems
Currently, Sejal serves as Habitat for Humanity's Fundraising chair and Serve UGA's Director of Outreach. She is also involved with the Indian Cultural Exchange. Through such experiences, she enjoys planning campus-wide events and promoting them to foster a strong sense of community. She also believes that nonprofits can avail from advancing systems and processes. In the future, Sejal aspires to leverage emerging technologies and diverse perspectives to address social injustices - continuing to align her work with her values. For leisure, she enjoys reading, baking, and travelling.
Jacob Kriete
Sophomore, Majoring in Business Management
Born and raised in Lawrenceville Georgia, Jacob is studying Business at UGA. With life-long interests in the Entrepreneurship field, Jacob has enjoyed UGA programs such as iCorps, and plans to take the ENTR certificate as he learns and grows in the field. Outside the classroom, Jacob enjoys interests in IM sports, the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
Adrienne Lincoln
Junior, Majoring in Finance
Adrienne is studying finance with an international business concentration and will be pursuing her Master of Accountancy. She endeavors to work in consulting or advising at one of the Big 4 firms. In her free time, she rides horses and plays polo as part of her family’s polo team that manages sixteen horses.
Laura Neely
Senior, Majoring in Management Information Systems
Laura is pursuing her BBA in Management Information Systems with a pathway track to a Master’s in Business Analytics, while also completing certificates in Financial Technology and Personal & Organizational Leadership. She currently serves as the President of Delta Delta Delta, and is the Student Coordinator of the MIS Advisory Board.
Dillon Nohr
Senior, Majoring in Finance
Dillon Nohr is from Marietta, Georgia and is passionate about politics, human rights, consulting, sustainability, and public policy. This past summer, Dillon interned for Insight Sourcing Group, a boutique consulting firm in Atlanta specializing in procurement and sourcing. In addition to this role, he has previously worked as a political research intern for House Majority PAC and as an intern for Myers and Stauffer and Reibus International. On campus, he is involved in a diverse group of student organizations including Corsair Society, Terry Student Consulting, Georgia Political Review, and Terry’s institute of leadership advancement. In his free time, you’ll find Dillon reading, playing chess, thrifting, traveling, or keeping up with current events.
Shivani Patel
Senior, Double Majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems
Shivani is an honors student from Toccoa, Georgia. She is currently an associate consultant for the Terry College of Business Student Consulting organization, where she provides data-driven research and objective third-party insight to provide clients with an unparalleled impactful experience. Aside from her skills in Finance and MIS, Shivani excels as an effective leader through not only her humility and optimistic attitude, but she makes sure to prioritize relationships with her teammates. Finally, she allows her purpose to drive all she does, by reimagining everything that may seem impossible.
Taral Patel
Junior, Double Majoring in Finance & Management Information Systems
Taral grew up in Suwanee, GA, and has interests in process optimization, analytics, and business growth strategies. She is eager to work alongside her creative peers in leveraging design thinking to reimagine processes and develop innovative solutions addressing business inefficiencies. She currently serves as the VP of community service for Delta Sigma Pi and upon graduation, Taral hopes to pursue a consulting career. In her free time, she likes to play board games like Catan, cook plant-based meals, and go for sunrise hikes.
Buhusuru Ranasinghe
Senior, Double Majoring in Finance and International Business
Buhusuru is a fourth-year international student from Sri Lanka. He currently serves as the Technology Sector leader for the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF). While being eager to learn and grow through the opportunities available within UGA, he gives back to the campus community as a Student Ambassador at the Terry College of Business. This past summer he interned at Canaccord Genuity as a Technology M&A investment banking analyst in New York City. In his free time, he likes to travel and explore different cities within the United States and participate in intramural sports.
Garrett Stigall
Senior, Majoring in Civil Engineering
Garrett Stigall was born and raised in Richmond Hill, Georgia. As an Eagle Scout, he developed a strong commitment to volunteering and has continued to serve his community through organizations like Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, and the Georgia Parks Service. While pursuing a major in Civil Engineering, Garrett also owns and operates two successful companies. In his free time, he maintains an active lifestyle as a competitive swimmer and enjoys learning new skills such as gardening, baking, cooking, crocheting, and knitting. Garrett's ultimate goal is to retire and become a Park Ranger at a State or National Park.
Lee Tran
Senior, Majoring in International Affairs
Lee is currently an associate consultant with the Terry School of Business Student Consulting Program and is very involved in local non-profit organizations, including the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. His work has included developing anti-poverty programs for the city of Athens, creating a recruiting structure for a technology consulting firm, and digitizing the activities of the Red Cross during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lee's skills in market analytics and data modeling will add value to any organization. In the future, Lee plans to work on high-impact projects as a management consultant.
Chiamaka Uwagerikpe
Senior, Double Majoring in Marketing & Advertising
Chiamaka is devoted to bringing eagerness and earnestness to all that she does. Her interests lie in culture, communications, travel, and psychology, and she pursues these passions both in and out of the classroom. Chiamaka currently serves as an ambassador for the community led nonprofit Gurls Talk and works as a content assistant for Strike Magazine Athens. With her work, she hopes to spark creative conversations that solve real-world problems and is currently building the skillset to achieve this goal.
