Experiential learning at the University of Georgia gives students hands-on opportunities to connect their academic foundations to the world beyond the classroom, through creative endeavors, study abroad and field schools, internship and leadership opportunities, faculty-mentored research, and service-learning. All UGA students are required to engage in at least one approved experiential learning activity that enhances learning and positions them for success after graduation.

EL opportunities can be for-credit courses or non-credit activities. The activities that will satisfy a student's requirement are based on the college of their major(s).
